Privacy Policy
Last updated May 23, 2026
This is Sparkz, an app created by the Sparkz team. This policy explains, in plain and direct language, what happens to your data when you use the app.
What we don't do
- We don't ask for your name, email, phone number, or any other personal data.
- We don't require registration or login to use Sparkz.
- We don't build a profile of you, and we don't sell information to advertisers.
- We don't access your camera, contacts, microphone, or location.
What we collect
To understand how the app is being used and to improve it, we collect anonymous usage events through Amplitude. These events describe actions inside the app — like "opened a pack", "completed a deck", "favorited a card" — and are not tied to your identity. Amplitude receives an anonymous identifier generated by your device, with no personal data attached.
We also use Sentry to receive automatic reports of technical errors. When the app crashes or hits an error, Sentry may record technical information (device model, operating system version, error stack trace) to help us fix the problem. These reports do not contain the content of your conversations, your answers, or personal identifiers.
What stays on your device
Your app preferences — theme, font, language — and the cards you favorite are stored locally on your device. This data is not sent to our servers. If you uninstall the app, this information is lost.
Card content
The questions you answer or skip during play never leave your device. Sparkz does not record, listen to, or store what is said around the app.
Children and teenagers
Sparkz is rated for use from 16 years old. We do not intentionally collect data from minors below that age. If you are responsible for a teenager and believe they are using the app without authorization, write to help@sparkz.fun.
Your rights (LGPD)
Since we don't associate data with you directly, there is no personal profile to delete. Even so, Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018) ensures you can:
- Know what data exists — the answer is: anonymous events in Amplitude and error reports in Sentry.
- Request the deletion of any data that may be associated with your device.
- Receive clarification on any point of this policy.
To exercise these rights, write to help@sparkz.fun.
Changes to this policy
If anything here changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated within the app itself.
